Poem
So many people view sports as the light of the world,
the big game apparently brings the people together
but are we really together when we are cheering for opposing teams
when we speak hateful words to those in the opposing colors
do they really bring us together?
Riots break out when your favorite team loses
Athletes do drugs
so that they will not let down their fans
by allowing their competitors defeat them
is this really together?

Jake, you posed some great questions. It shows how much passion people have towards sports. Depending on the way you look at it, I believe sports can have both positive and negative effects on people.
